Converter inputs
Grid reactances generally operate in cooperation with power converters in medium voltage electrical systems. They are normally installed on the power supply side (before the converter), in alternating current with a main frequency as the fundamental component. Line inductors are also characterized by the great linearity of their inductance curve (L=f[I]). The mains reactances are produced in accordance with the requirements of the international standards IEC 61558-2-20 / IEC 60076-6.

Converter outputs
Inductors for motors are applied to the outputs of medium voltage frequency converters and motor currents flow through them. They compensate currents with load-reverse capacity in the case of long cables and limit, for suitable long motor cables, the du/dt at the motor terminals, making it possible to supply power to the motor with the longest possible wiring. Motor inductors are produced in accordance with the requirements of international standards IEC 61558-2-20 / IEC 60076-6.

Converter inputs


- It limits the di/dt slew rate and the impact of changeover switching of converters powered by the same transformer;
- It reduces the harmonic content of the current, providing:
. Increase of power factor;
. Reduction of effective current;
. Reduction of Mains voltage distortion;
. Attenuation of undervoltage or overvoltage transients in the converter network and aid in the action of ultra-fast fuses.
- Insulation class: F (Standard) or B (As per request);
- Protection class: IP-00 (suitable for sheltered installation);
- Frequency: up to 400HZ;
- Terminals: conectors for cables from 1,5 to 10mm² or lugs or copper bars for currents greater than 60A;
- Fastening by means of metallic base.


Converter outputs

- Reduction in the du/dt gradient of the voltage at the motor source terminals;
- Cables further away from the motor source are possible;
- Reduction in capacitive current peaks of the load-reverse and consequently the optimal use of the converter capacity;
- Safety for the highest installation;
- Compact design;
- Protection class: IP-00 (suitable for indoor installation);
- Frequency: up to 400HZ;
- Terminals: connectors for cables from 1.5 to 10mm² or lugs or copper bars for currents greater than 60A;
- Fastening by means of metallic base.

Converter inputs

They are used on the input side of a drive to protect it from overvoltage transients. The main function of line reactors is to oppose rapid changes in current due to their impedances.


Converter outputs

Standard types can be used for up to 400Hz converter output frequencies and up to 3kHz switching frequency.
